Flashka 4.13: Oral Exams are here 🎤

Hey Flashka fam! 👋

Oral exams give you nightmares? No worries.
This week we worked on something that might be very interesting for you!

Let's dive in 👇

1. Oral Exams 🎤

Open any deck and tap Study Deck, or create a new quiz from the Quiz dashboard, and you'll find a fresh option waiting for you.

There are 3 different mode you can try:

1. Oral exam with professor: a back and forth conversation with Prof. Ka.
Ka leads the way, probing what you know and digging into the gaps.

2. Open recall: Ka picks a topic, you spill everything you know about it, Ka scores you on what you got and what you missed.

3. Question and answer: pick how many questions you want, and Prof. Ka quizzes you one at a time. Mostly by voice, just like a real oral.

Note:
Oral Exams are AI-powered, so here's how it works:

• 🆓 Free Plan: 2 oral exams per day

• 🦁 Beast: 100 oral exams per month

• 🧙 Wizard: unlimited, go wild

2. Your results, broken down 📊

At the end of every session you get:

• A score from 0 to 100

• A personalised comment from Ka

• Your performance split into three clear sections:

1. You nailed ✅: everything you got right, organised by tag so you can see the topics you've mastered.

2. You sucked 😅: what you missed or fumbled. Tap any tag to jump straight to that part of the conversation and see exactly what happened.

3. Terms 📝: Ka corrects your terminology. If you used something too generic or imprecise, you'll see what you should have said instead.

Scroll down to see the whole conversation with everything highlighted (nailed, sucked, term issues). For every answer you gave, tap the button to reveal the correct one.

3. Personalise your exam 🎯

Choose exactly what to be tested on:

• Pages from your document, or

• Chapters generated from your notes (way better)

If you have notes, you'll see them organised by headings (title, subtitles, etc.), so you can drill into any single topic and go deep.

4. Exam Simulations moved to the Quiz tab 🗂️

Can't find Exam Simulations anymore?
No worriesssss, we just tucked them inside the Quiz tab.

When you start, you'll now pick between a normal Quiz or an Exam Simulation
