Collaborative Study Groups — co-edit decks, sync updates, private links
This request proposes the implementation of a real-time, shared editing capability for flashcard decks and quizzes on the Flashka.AI platform. The primary goal is to allow multiple users (Creators/Students) to simultaneously contribute to, edit, and curate a single study deck, thereby significantly improving the efficiency and quality of collaborative study efforts.
Proposed Functionality
The feature should be initiated by the original deck owner ("Host") and involve the following key components:
Invitation Mechanism:
The Host can invite other Flashka.AI users ("Co-Editors") via email or a sharable invitation link.
An invitation should clearly define the associated permission level (see Permissions).
Real-Time Editing:
Co-Editors must be able to view and edit flashcards, quiz questions, and deck metadata simultaneously.
An indicator (e.g., initials or a highlight) should show which user is currently editing a specific card or field to mitigate immediate edit conflicts.
Permissions and Roles:
Host (Original Creator): Retains full administrative control (Edit, Delete, Invite/Remove Co-Editors, Transfer Ownership).
Co-Editor: Can Add, Edit, and Delete individual flashcards/quiz questions. Cannot Delete the entire deck or remove the Host.
Viewer (Optional but Recommended): Can access the deck for studying, but cannot make any modifications to the content.
Activity Log:
A log should track which user added, edited, or deleted a specific card/question and the corresponding timestamp. This is essential for accountability and content auditing.
